Fiscal Note
In March 2016, MPD accepted a Speed Enforcement grant partnering with the Dane County Sheriff’s Office. The grant expired as of September 30, 2016 and MPD did not use all of the funding allocated to them, however, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office did make additional deployments that are grant eligible. The proposed resolution authorizes the transfer of $8,285 of existing grant funding from the Madison Police Department (MPD) overtime budget to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
