PREAMBLE
The City Engineer plans to award four contracts in 2009. Three of the contracts are included in this resolution: Resurfacing 2009 - Asphalt Paving, contract 6289; Resurfacing 2009 - Grinding and Pulverizing, contract 6291; Resurfacing 2009 - Asphalt Base Patching and Base Patch Grinding, contract 6292.
Resurfacing 2009 Utility Casting Repair, Adjusting and Curb and Gutter Repair Assessment District, contract 6290 will be presented in a separate resolution.
NOW THERFOR BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications for Resurfacing 2009 - Asphalt Paving, contract 6289; Resurfacing 2009 - Grinding and Pulverizing, contract 6291; Resurfacing 2009 - Asphalt Base Patching and Base Patch Grinding, contract 6292 be and are hereby approved:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise for and receive bids for the required public works contracts.
