Amending Section 12.129(2) of the Madison General Ordinances to modify the restriction against idling a motor bus on a highway abutting a residential zoned district.
Body
      The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
 
Subsection (2) of Section 12.129 entitled "Parking Heavy Traffic In Residence Districts" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:
 
"(2)      No operator of any motor bus weighing over eight thousand (8000) pounds shall permit such motor bus to remain stationary with the main power train motor running for more than fifteen (15) minutes when such motor bus is on a highway abutting a residential zoned district building and when the outside air temperature is between 40°F and 80°F."
