Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2017 capital budget the Stormwater Utility has budgeted $1.275 million in the Citywide Flood Mitigation program to improve stormwater network performance at City locations that flood during large rainfall events. The proposed resolution approves plans for the Hughes Street storm relief and resurfacing project near the Villager shopping mall at a total estimated cost of $1.56 million. Funding is provided by GO Borrowing and associated utility funding.

Approving plans and specifications and authorizing the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for Hughes Street Storm Relief and Resurfacing.
Body
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Hughes Street Storm Relief and Resurfacing, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
