Fiscal Note
This legislation incorporates a series of already adopted ordinances into the text of Madison General Ordinances. Fiscal notes would have been prepared for each of the individual ordinance changes adopted by the Council and included in this revision. No appropriation is required.

Adopting and confirming Revision No. 9 of the Madison General Ordinances as of December 15, 2019 to incorporate the changes pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 66.0103.

DRAFTER’S ANALYSIS: This ordinance updates the Madison General Ordinances through December 15, 2019. In lieu of referring this ordinance to the subsequent Common Council meeting, we are requesting the Common Council adopt this revision ordinance under suspension of the rules. This procedural change will make the new MGO text available to the public more quickly.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
All of Revision No. 9 of the Madison General Ordinances, as of December 15, 2019, incorporating the changes made by Ordinance Numbers ORD-19-00066 through ORD-19-00096 are hereby adopted in its entirety and Volumes I, II, III and IV as revised through December 15, 2019 be confirmed in all respects.
Revision No. 9 is published in pamphlet form by direction of the Common Council of the City of Madison, in accordance with Wis. Stat. § 66.0103.
