PREAMBLE

The 2005 Capital budget for Storm Water Utility included $230,000 for the purchase of 2 street sweepers as part of the 5 year life cycle replacement plan. Due to the surcharges for the price of steel, the price of the sweepers is higher than originally anticipated. The actual cost for the 2 sweepers is $262,365. The additional funding will be provided by Storm Water Utility reserves.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the 2005 Storm Water Capital budget is hereby amended by

$32,365 to a total of $262,365, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funding for this project be made available from Storm Water Utility reserves.
