DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance changes the polling location for Ward 55 and 56 from the Dane County Neighborhood Intervention, 501 E. Badger Rd. to Madison Police Department South District, 825 Hughes Place for the November 2006 elections.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

1.      Subsection (55) entitled "Ward 55" of Section 15.02 entitled "Wards and Ward Boundaries" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by amending therein the following:

"Polling place at Dane County Neighborhood Intervention, 501 E. Badger Rd.  For the November 2006 elections the polling place will be at Madison Police Department South District, 825 Hughes Place. This is a temporary move due to demolition of the existing polling place; the polling place for all future elections will need to be determined following the November 2006 election."

2.      Subsection (56) entitled "Ward 56" of Section 15.02 entitled "Wards and Ward Boundaries" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by amending therein the following:
