Authorizing the execution of an Underground Electric Easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company across a City of Madison Engineering Division property located at 1602 Emil Street. 14th Ald. District.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Division is constructing a new addition to the City Engineering facility at 1602 Emil Street; and

WHEREAS, Madison Gas and Electric Company will be extending underground electric service to the new City Engineering facility; and

WHEREAS, MG&E has requested a six (6) foot wide and (10) foot wide underground electric easement ("Easement") across the City Engineering Division property to provide electrical service to the new building addition; and

WHEREAS, the City Engineering Division has reviewed and approves of the Easement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Underground Electric Easement with Madison Gas and Electric Company for the Easement described as follows:

Two strips of land, one being six (6) feet in width and one being ten (10) feet in width, located in Lot 12, Madison Shops Plat, lying part of the SE? of Section 34, Town 7 North, Range 9 East, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, the centerline of said strip 6-foot-wide strip being more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 12; thence North 00°31'W along the West line of said Lot 12, 2415 feet to the point of beginning; thence N89°49'E, 3 feet; thence S00°31E, 182 feet; thence N89°49'E, parallel to the north right-of-way line of Emil Street, 230 feet to a Point "A" and point of termination of said 6-foot-wide strip.

Also the centerline of said 10-foot-strip being more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at said Point "A", thence N00°31'W, 25 feet to the point of termination of said 10-foot-wide strip
