Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2017 capital budget the Monona Terrace has budgeted $300,000 for bike path resurfacing (MUNIS 17417). The proposed resolution approves plan documents at an estimated cost of $300,000. Funding is provided by GO Borrowing.

PREAMBLE

 

WHEREAS, The City of Madison has scheduled a Polymer overlay of the Monona Terrace Bike Path. 

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications for Polymer Overlay of the Monona Terrace Bike Path are hereby approved, and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
