PREAMBLE

On June 26, 2002 the City of Madison entered into an agreement with Dane County for the Reconstruction of Buckeye Road (Contract No. 5363) with the authority provided by Council Resolution No. 57516, ID No. 28071 adopted on September 5, 2000.

The agreement outlined cost sharing between the City and Dane County for the reconstruction of  Buckeye Road.  Final costs for the project have been calculated.  The amendment increases Dane County's share by $65,000.

NOW THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Amendment 1 to the present agreement between the City of Madison and Dane County, Contract No. 5363, Reconstruction of Buckeye Road.
