Title

Approving the Scoring System of the Accessible Taxi Cab Grant.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Madison established a grant program to support accessible taxi cabs in Madison (Leg ID# 75053);

WHEREAS, the resolution added $250,000 in General Fund supported GO borrowing to support the program;

WHEREAS, the resolution required that the scoring system used to evaluate applications required Transportation Commission approval;

WHEREAS, staff from Traffic Engineering, Madison Metro, and Madison Planning organization worked on creating a scoring system to reflect criteria listed in the resolution and modeled after the Department of Transportation and MPO Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Transportation Commission approves the scoring system for the Accessible Taxi Cab Grant
