If Cream City Rickshaw Inc. is granted this permit, approximately $125 in company license fees, $450 in vehicle permits (15 vehicles x $30), and $375 in driver's permit fees (estimated 15 driver x $25) would be realized annually by the City.

Relating to Cream City Rickshaw Inc. application for a Pedal Cab operator license.

WHEREAS, Cream City Rickshaw Inc. has applied for a pedal-cab service operator license and one (1) Pedal-Cab Vehicle permit;
WHEREAS, Cream City Rickshaw Inc. has been granted a provisional pedal-cab service by the Traffic Engineer, as the operator has met the criteria as provided under MGO 11.06(2)(c) including a valid public passenger driver permit, proof of proper liability insurance coverage and approved vehicle inspection;
WHEREAS, a pedal cab operator may apply and be granted a provisional pedal-cab service operator license, the application must receive final approval by the Transit and Parking Commission and Common Council;
WHEREAS, any changes in routes or zones used by Cream City Rickshaw Inc. would be subject to review by Traffic Engineering;
WHEREAS, this vehicle would be subject to all state laws and Madison Ordinances pertaining to bicycles;
WHEREAS, the City's Risk Manager has reviewed the applicant's liability insurance coverage and found that it complies with City ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council approves Cream City Rickshaw Inc. application to operate a pedal cab and approves its request for one Pedal-cab Vehicle permit in 2014.
LET IT FURTHER BE RESOLVED that Cream City Rickshaw Inc. application and service are subject to the provisions and conditions as stated above and the ordinances of the City of Madison.
