Bruce Simonson of SGN&A is appealing IBC 1003.3.1.6, thresholds.  The rule requires that thresholds at doorways be 3/4".  The variance requested is to allow 1 1/2" threshold in 20 of the units.  The approved plans indicated a 3/4" threshold in the details for the structure.
