Fiscal Note

 As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and James M. Wolfe, the City Engineer salary will be based on a total annualized rate of $147,000 effective September 22, 2022. The City Engineer position is approved and funded in the 2022 Adopted Operating Budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor’s discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Body

WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed James Wolfe to the position of City Engineer and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Wolfe

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Wolfe appointment to the position of City Engineer is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Wolfe.
