This Ordinance is a companion to Legistar #20848, a Resolution that amends the position within the Department of Civil Rights (DCR). All funding has been included in the DCR 2011 adopted operating budget. No additional appropriation is required.

Amending Section 3.54(1)(b) of the Madison General Ordinances by creating the classification of "Disability Rights and Program Services Specialist" in Compensation Group 18, Range 04, and deleting the classification of "Disability Rights and Program Services Coordinator" in Compensation Group 18, Range 08, thereof.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subdivision (b) of Subsection (1) of Section 3.54 entitled "Compensation Plan" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by creating the classification of "Disability Rights and Program Services Specialist" in Compensation Group 18, Range 04, and deleting the classification of "Disability Rights and Program Services Coordinator" in Compensation Group 18, Range 08, thereof.
