Title
Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Benedict Di Salvo, Overture Center Sponsorship Associate.
Body
WHEREAS the City of Madison executed on behalf of the Overture Center an employment agreement with Mr. Ben Di Salvo as Overture Center Group Sales and Sponsorship Associate in June 2004; and
WHEREAS the needs and priorities of the Overture Center during its first seven months of operations have changed the focus and duties of the position to be fund raising; and
WHEREAS the City of Madison through the Overture Center Director and Mr. Di Salvo has successfully negotiated a mutually agreeable Employment Agreement for Mr. Di Salvo as Overture Center Sponsorship Associate, such agreement to take effect upon execution and to be terminable at will by either party.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute the Agreement described herein on behalf of the City of Madison.
