Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution approves plans, specifications, and assessments and authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for the Extension of Two New Water Laterals in the 200 Block of Nygard St - 200 Block Nygard Street Assessment District. The total estimated cost of the project is $32,423, fully comprised of assessments. There is no City share of the cost. No appropriation is required.

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Madison adopted a preliminary resolution, declaring its intention to exercise police powers and special assess costs to extend two new water service laterals to the property line of 208 Nygard St and all other statutory requirements, pursuant to MGO Sec. 4.09(3); and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and the Water Utility Principal Engineer having reported on all the proceedings in relation to the extension of two new water service laterals to 208 Nygard St in accordance with Section 66.0701 of the Wisconsin Statutes and having in all things duly conformed to the order of the Common Council in relation thereto, and the provisions of the Madison General Ordinances and the Wisconsin Statutes in such case made and provided, and the Common Council being fully advised;
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. That two new water service laterals shall be extended to the property line at 208 Nygard St;
2. That the property benefited is justly chargeable with and shall pay the sum of $32,423.13 for said improvements, and that the sum assigned to the parcel as indicated on the attached schedule of assessments, is hereby specially assessed upon said parcel;
3. That the Common Council determines such special assessments to be reasonable;
