Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) released the 2024 Roadmap to Reducing Violence in Madison and Dane County Request for Proposals to seek applicants for two program areas:
• Violence Prevention: programs working towards prioritized violence prevention goals, strategies, and activities from the Violence Prevention Plan (Roadmap to Reducing Violence).
• Gun Violence Intervention: programs working to provide hospital-based intervention support for victims of gun violence.
Applicants from this RFP were scored by external panelist and reviewed for recommendation to fund. The following agencies are recommended to enter into contract to and fund at the following amounts:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County on behalf of Public Health Madison and Dane County authorizes the Director of Public Health, or their designee, to accept and distribute the funding, sign the contract with the above selected vendors, and adjust the Public Health budget in the amount of $410,000.
