Body

Preamble:

The Wingra Dam is scheduled for replacement by the City of Madison in 2008 or 2009.  Engineering work to be completed by a consultant for design of the new dam includes preparation of plans and specifications, preparation of cost estimates and quantities for bidding, and permitting activities associated with securing permits from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract for Purchase of Services (Design Professionals) with Ayers Associates to perform engineering work for design of the Wingra Dam Rehabilitation Project.
