I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments. Committee applications for mayoral appointments are attached. Statement of Interest forms are on file for these appointees where applicable.
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
HANS J. HINKE, 1901 West Lawn Ave., 53711 (10th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Mayor or Designee. Mr. Hinke currently holds the position of Second Alternate and has served since 12-13-2011. He succeeds Lucas Dailey.

DAVID J. BRANSON, 6706 Schroeder Rd. #7, 53711 (19th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Mr. Branson currently holds the position of First Alternate and has served since 4-17-2012. He succeeds Ruben L. Anthony, Jr.

COMMITTEE ON COMMUNITY GARDENS
AISLYNN H.C. MILLER, 2125 Leland Dr., 53711 (20th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Citizen. Ms. Miller is a crafter and gardener, having completed her Master Gardener course in 2004. She has volunteered at several area gardens. She succeeds Yimmuaj Yang.

HOUSING STRATEGY COMMITTEE
DAVID C. PORTERFIELD, 4110 1/2 Maher Ave., 53716 (15th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen Member. Mr. Porterfield is a real estate developer with Movin' Out, Inc. He served on the former Housing Committee.

SHARON L. MCCABE, 1143 Emerald St., 53715 (13th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen Member. Ms. McCabe is a faculty associate at the UW-Madison, lecturing in the real estate department. She is a former member of the Transportation and Parking Commission.

ANNE L.N. MORRISON, 1933 Keyes Ave., 53711 (13th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen Member. Ms. Morrison is a development associate with Urban Land Interests. She previously served as senior underwriter for Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority.

BRIAN K. NOWICKI, 1015 Sherman Ave., 53703 (2nd A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen Member. Mr. Nowicki is a senior manager with the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA). He previously served as WHEDA's controller.

LAURIE A. LOGAN, 3629 Busse St., 53714 (15th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen Member. Ms. Logan is a real estate broker with Prudential Community Realty. She has served on several boards including Operation Fresh Start and Hope House.

MARTHA CRANLEY, 4514 Keating Terr., 53711 (10th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen Member. Ms. Cranley is the Director of Community Impact and Strategic Communications with United Way of Dane County. In addition, she serves as chair of the local decision-making board for FEMA's Emergency Food and Shelter funds.

LUPE MONTES, 108 N. Hancock, 53703 (2nd A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen Member. Ms. Montes is a senior loan office with Inlanta Mortgage. She currently serves on the executive board of Capitol Neighborhoods, Inc.

DANEZ J. SMITH, 206 N. 6th St. #3, 53704 (12th A.D.) - appoint to a two-year term to the position of Citizen Member. Mr. Smith is the Creative and Academic Advisor with the Office of Multicultural Arts Initiatives/First Waves at the UW-Madison.
