Fiscal Note
These grants will be accounted for in a special revenue fund. Matching funds of about $6,500 are required and included in the police department's operating budget and will be applied to pay the fringe benefit costs (FICA and Wisconsin Retirement System) associated with the overtime funded by the grant. In addition, routine officer straight time enforcement efforts will also be applied to achieve the minimum commitment (25% of grant totals).
