Fiscal Note

No City appropriation is required with the approval of this revised preliminary plat. City costs associated with urban development in this area will be included in future operating and capital budgets subject to Common Council approval.

 

Title

Approving the revised preliminary plat of Hill Valley on property addressed as 940-1050 S High Point Road, 1051 S Pleasant View Road, and 902 Landmark Trail (District 1).

 

Body

WHEREAS VH Hill Valley, LLC filed a preliminary plat known as Hill Valley on property addressed as 940-1050 S High Point Road, 1051 S Pleasant View Road, and 902 Landmark Trail, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin for approval by the Madison Common Council; and

 

WHEREAS the Common Council approved the preliminary plat by Resolution 24-00111 (ID 85415) on December 10, 2024 subject to conditions, including a condition that the subdivider submit a revised preliminary plat concurrent with the first final plat of the subdivision that reflects the revisions to the plat layout recommended by staff and approved by the Plan Commission; and

 

WHEREAS the applicant/ subdivider has duly filed the revised preliminary plat of Hill Valley and the first final plat of the subdivision;

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the revised preliminary plat is hereby approved subject to all conditions as required by the reviewing City departments as required by Section 16.23 of the General Ordinances of the City of Madison, subject to the conditions noted in the Plan Commission files, and that same shall be recorded with the Dane County Register of Deeds.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Division is authorized to reflect the recorded subdivision in the Comprehensive Plan and any applicable neighborhood plans.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council authorizes City staff to request approval from the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission of any minor revisions to adopted environmental corridor boundaries within the Central Urban Service Area relating to this subdivision, and that the Council recognizes and adopts said revised boundaries.
