DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance amendment rezones property located at 7901-7913 East Buckeye Road and 7102-7270 Maahic Way from PD (Planned Development) District, CC-T (Commercial Corridor-Transitional) District and CN (Conservancy) District to Amended PD (Planned Development District)  and approves an amended General Development Plan and a Specific Implementation Plan or Dane County’s Rodefeld Landfill to relocate and expand space for materials recycling.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

 

                     1.                     Map Amendment 00751 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:

 

“28.022-00751. The following described property is hereby rezoned to Amended PD (Planned Development) District.

 

Part of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 24, Township 7 North, Range 10 East, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, more particularly described as:

 

Commencing at the Southeast Corner of Section 24, aforesaid; thence S88°25’20”W along the south line of the SE 1/4 of Section 24, a distance of 33.02 feet to the westerly right-of-way line of County Trunk Highway “AB”, and the Point of Beginning; thence continuing S88°25’20”W along said south line, 1300.53 feet to the Southwest Corner of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said Section; thence N00°40’09”E along the west line of said SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4, 862.16 feet; thence N88°11’22”E, 754.28 feet; thence N00°28’22”E, 173.92 feet to the southerly right-of-way line of Femrite Drive; thence S82°55’38”E along said line, 582.96 feet; thence continuing S78°37’53”E along said line 4.79 feet to a point on the east line of the SE 1/4 of Section 24;

thence continuing 100.43 feet along said line on a curve to the left, having a radius of 333.00 feet, whose chord bears S09°34’47”W, 100.05 feet; thence continuing S00°56’22”W along said line, 347.72 feet to a bend; thence continuing S00°22’53”W along said line, 1.29 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said parcel contains 1,214,449 square feet or 27.880 acres.

2.                     WHEREAS, a Planned Development District Specific Implementation Plan has been duly filed for approval of the Madison Common Council and is hereby made an integral component of the zoning district regulations.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the Common Council of the City of Madison do ordain as follows:
