I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen appointments. "Statement of Interests" forms are on file in the City Clerk's Office for those appointees required to file.

Verona Area School District recommendation:
DAVID L. JENNINGS, 503 Jenna Dr., Verona, WI 53593 - appoint to the position of Verona Area School District Representative. Mr. Jennings is the principal of the Badger Ridge Middle School.
CDA LONG RANGE PLANNING SUBCOMMITTEE
ALICE J. FIKE, 755 Braxton Pl. #A311, 53715 (13th A.D.) - appoint to the position of CDA Housing Operations Subcommittee Member. Ms. Fike is active in the Triangle neighborhood. She succeeds Rebecca Margiotta who resigned.

ALEX SALOUTOS, 3818 Hammersley Ave., 53705-5238 (11th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Mayor's Designee. Mr. Saloutos is a management consultant in homebuilding, including seven years as director of marketing for the largest homebuilder in Wisconsin and four years of management consulting for homebuilders in strategic planning, quality improvement, customer satisfaction, sales and marketing. He was active in the development of the IZ ordinance and a participant in the Dane County Comprehensive Plan Housing and Economic Development committee.

SIMON L. SNYDER, 237 Langdon St. #2, 53703 (8th A.D.) - appoint to the position of ASM Representative. Mr. Simon is a UW-Madison student, active and involved on campus and is a member of the Shared Governance Committee and President of the largest fraternity on campus. He succeeds Eyal Halamish.

EDWARD G. CLARKE, 10 Farmington Ct., 53717 (9th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Business Community Representative. Mr. Clarke is vice president for strategic initiatives at Madison Area Technical College. He has served as president of the Madison Urban League; he currently serves on the Dane County Economic Strategies group and is a member of Downtown Madison, Inc.

This position title was changed from "Citizen" to "Public Health Director" when the South Madison Health and Family Center-Harambee revised its bylaws in October, 2005.
