I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments.
ALCOHOL LICENSE REVIEW COMMITTEE

University of Wisconsin Chancellor appointment:
LESLIE G. ORRANTIA - appointed to the position of UW-Madison Chancellor or Designee. Ms. Orrantia succeeds Everett D. Mitchell.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT COMMITTEE
RICKY HUNT (19th A.D.) - reappoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Minority Representative. First appointed 5-19-2015.
TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2018
BEN VAN PELT (4th A.D.) - reappoint to a two-year term to the position of Low/Moderate Income Representative. First appointed 10-2-2012.

KEETRA S. BURNETTE (20th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a one-year term to the position of Citizen. Ms. Burnette currently holds the First Alternate position and has served since 9-15-2015. She succeeds Greg L. Rosenberg.

JENNIFER H. CAMPBELL (11th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a one-year term to the position of First Alternate. Ms. Campbell currently holds the Second Alternate position and has served since 5-3-2016. She succeeds Keetra S. Burnette who assumed a Citizen position.

DOWNTOWN COORDINATING COMMITTEE
THOMAS E. HIRSCH (5th A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Citizen Member. First appointed 9-3-2013.

SANDRA TORKILDSON (2nd A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Citizen Member. First appointed 11-19-2013.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES COMMISSION EMPLOYMENT SUBCOMMITTEE
JASON HILLER (18th A.D.)- appoint to the position of Member. Mr. Hiller is the Safety and Compliance Coordinator for the QTI Group. He succeeds Kathy Hansen.
MADISON FOOD POLICY COMMITTEE
JENNA COLLINS (19th A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Citizen Member. First appointed 12-1-2015.

MADISON PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
CINDY L. FESEMYER (6th A.D) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. Fesemyer is the Library Director for the city of Columbus. She has served on the boards of numerous non-profits, including WORT and Mifflin Street Coop. She also served on the Friends of the Hawthorne Branch Library. Ms. Fesemyer succeeds Tracy K. Kuczenski.

TRACEY A. CARADINE (12th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. Caradine is the Employee Relations Manager for the Sun Prairie Area School District. She has volunteered with several organizations, including Porchlight and the Urban League of Greater Madison and previously served on the City’s Affirmative Action Commission. Ms. Caradine succeeds Gregory Markle.

SISTER CITY COLLABORATION COMMITTEE
MUSA JALLOW (12th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Sister City Representative. Mr. Jallow serves on the board of the Madison-Kanifing Sister City Committee and chairs the Madison-Kanifing Liaison Committee.

SUSTAINABLE MADISON COMMITTEE
STACIE A. REECE (13th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Common Council or Citizen Member. Ms. Reece currently holds the First Alternate position and has served since 2-2-2016. She succeeds John M. Conowall.
TERM EXPIRES: 6-30-2017
MARIA A. SCHLETZBAUM (19th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Member. Ms. Schletzbaum is a medical scientist training program fellow at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She succeeds David P. Rhode.

AUGUST MCGINNITY-WAKE (4th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of First Alternate. Mr. McGinnity-Wake is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Political Science and Environmental Studies. He has been active in local politics and is currently the chair of the UW-Madison College Democrats. Mr. McGinnity-Wake succeeds Stacie A. Reece who assumed a Member position.

JOSEPH M. RYAN (1st A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Second Alternate. Mr. Ryan is an independent consultant in the area of healthcare information technology. He is the president/co-founder of the Madison West Neighborhood Association.

WATER UTILITY BOARD
LAUREN CNARE (3rd A.D.) - reappoint to a five-year term to the position of Member. First appointed 5-19-2015.
