I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments. "Statement of Interests" forms are on file for the appointees required to file.
ADA TRANSIT SUBCOMMITTEE TO THE TRANSIT AND PARKIING COMMISSION
WILLIAM J. TANGNEY, 2706 Union St., 53704-5135 (15th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Commission on People with Disabilities Member or Senior Citizen Advisory Commission Member or Citizen. Mr. Tangney will serve as the Commission on People with Disabilities Member. He succeeds Jeff Erlanger.

MARGARET BERGAMINI, University of Wisconsin - reappointed to a two-year term to the position of Alternate University of Wisconsin Representative. First Appointed 11-19-2002.

BRUCE SYLVESTER, City Planner for the City of Verona - reappointed to a two-year term to the position of City of Verona Representative. First Appointed 9-19-2006.

SHAWN MURPHY, City Administrator for the City of Verona - appointed to a two-year term to the position of Alternate City of Verona Representative. Mr. Murphy succeeds Perry Asher.

CAROL S. GOSENHEIMER, Office of the Registrar, University of Wisconsin - Ms. Gosenheimer is a manager of strategic planning and communications. She succeeds Tino Balio who retired.

SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
HELEN AARLI, 1912 Atwood Ave. #311, 53704-5221 (6th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. Aarli is a retired teacher. She is a co-host on Senior Beat (Cable 12) and is active in several organizations and activities. She succeeds Mary Stamstad who resigned.

VENDING OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE
The following appointments reflect the ordinance amendment adopted by Council on October 2, 2007 modifying the composition of the Vending Oversight Committee. The committee will consist of five voting members, one alternate, and up to four non-voting technical advisors.
Note: The two positions filled by alders, Ald. Verveer (Downtown District Common Council Member) and Ald. Pham-Remmele (Common Council Member from another part of the city), remain unchanged.
ROSEMARY LEE, 111 W. Wilson St. #108, 53703-3213 (4th A.D.) - reappoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of State Street Area or Capitol Concourse Resident. Ms. Lee formerly held a Citizen position.
