He fills the vacant position left when Andrea Dearlove was moved/appointed to the position of Specialist in the Child Care Field.

RATIONALE FOR REAPPOINTMENT: Mr. Amegashie is the Director of the Minority Business Program at the State Department of Administration. He has very capably fulfilled his duties in the Business and Financial Representative position on the MDC Board for the past few years. He is a recognized leader in the minority business procurement and is knowledgeable about other challenges associated with minority business growth and development. His continued involvement on the MDC Board will not only help assure continuity in the operations of the organization, but will also afford MDC the benefit of his insights and experience in matters of economic development and interactions with entrepreneurs of color.
