I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following resident committee appointments.

 

 

COMMITTEE ON AGING

 

KATHLEEN M. WHITT (20th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Senior Center Foundation Member. Ms. Whitt currently holds a Member (55+ Years of Age) position and has served since 6-19-2012. She succeeds Edna F. Canfield.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2021

 

FELICITUS FERINGTON,  (7th A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Member (55+ Years of Age).  First appointed 6-19-2012.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2022

 

BEN OBREGÓN (13th A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Member (55+ Years of Age). First appointed 6-18-2019.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2022

 

 

EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION COMMITTEE

 

CHRISTINE COKE (11th A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Specialist in Child Care Field. First appointed 1-17-2017.

TERM EXPIRES: 9-30-2022

 

ELIZABETH K. SCHROEDER (20th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Child Care Service Consumer. Ms. Schroeder is a working parent, currently employed by Slipstream as a digital marketing specialist. She serves on the Meadowood Neighborhood Association board and is a recent graduate of Emerge Wisconsin. Ms. Schroeder succeeds Kate Toews.

REBECCA K. MURRAY (3rd A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member. Ms. Murray is an associate director with the Wisconsin Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Board. She has volunteered with numerous organizations, including St. Vincent de Paul. Ms. Murray succeeds Senay Goitom.

LANA NENIDE (19th A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Member. First appointed 9-19-2017.

DIPESH NAVSARIA (11th A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Member. First appointed 5-2-2017.

CARLY M. MICHIELS (15th A.D.) - appointed to the position of Mayor or Designee. Ms. Michiels is the government relations director for Clean Wisconsin. Prior to that, she served as a legislative aide for State Representative Gordon Hintz. Ms. Michiels succeeds Todd Ambs.

LANDMARKS COMMISSION

 

ELIZABETH (BETTY) BANKS (2nd A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Historian. Ms. Banks is a co-founder/executive director of Today Not Tomorrow, Inc. (TNT). She serves as the director of community outreach for TNT’s Project Babies. She is a Madison native with a long history of community engagement and chronicling Madison’s history, including publishing her own newspaper and producing her own television show. She is active with numerous organizations, including serving on the board of the Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness. Ms. Banks succeeds Stuart Levitan.
