ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW BOARD

 

JANICE N. BENSKY, 1801 Rowley Ave., 53726-4125 (10th A.D.) - reappoint to a two-year term to the position of Adult City Resident.  First Appointed 10-1-1996.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2008.

 

BROADBAND TELECOMMUNICATIONS REGULATORY BOARD

 

ROBERT J. TOOMEY, 1609 N. Thompson Dr. #204, 53704-7847 (17th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident.  Mr. Toomey is a training coordinator for the State of Wisconsin, Office of State Employment Relations.  He has been active in several community organizations.  He succeeds Steven Schur who resigned.

TERM EXPIRES: 4-30-2007.

 

COMMUNITY GARDENS COMMITTEE

 

MARY MALISCHKE, 4825 Bayfield Ter., 53705 (11th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term and to an additional three-year term to the position of Citizen.  Ms. Malischke is a nutrition site planner and program planner for the West Madison Senior Coalition. She is the coordinator of the Sheboygan Community Garden.  She succeeds Janet Parker who resigned.

CURRENT TERM EXPIRES: 1-18-2007.

FULL TERM EXPIRES: 1-18-2010.

JOYCE E. BROMLEY, 3535 Topping Rd., Shorewood Hills, 53705 - Shorewood Hills Village President Peter Hans has appointed Ms. Bromley to the position of Shorewood Hills Village President Designee.  She succeeds Brian Joiner.

 

PARKING COUNCIL FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

 

GARY A. WEBER, 14 Maple Wood La. #16, 53704 (12th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Citizen or TPC Member.  Mr. Weber will serve as a citizen member.  He has a medical disability.  He succeeds Charles Squires who resigned.

CRANDALL, 108 Proudfit St., 53715 (13th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a one-year term to the position of 2nd Alternate Member.  Mr. Crandall is a grants and contracts specialist for the University of Wisconsin.  He is car free, active in the downtown area and interested in transit issues.  He succeeds Patricia Ball who is being moved/appointed to the 1st Alternate position.

WESLEY N. SPARKMAN, 1102 Engelhart Dr., 53713 (14th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a five-year term to the position of Adult City Resident.  Mr. Sparkman is the contract compliance officer for Dane County.  He succeeds LaMarr Billups who resigned.

REGENT STREET-SOUTH CAMPUS PLAN STEERING COMMITTEE

 

*2/3 vote required for confirmation of non-city residents.

 

Pursuant to Sec. 3.27(2) of the Madison General Ordinances, " … provisions of this section shall not necessarily apply with reference to membership on special study committees where in the judgement of the mayor and two-thirds (2/3) of the Common Council, the best interests of the city will be served by the appointment of certain nonresident members who are particularly well qualified by reasons of education, background, and experience … ."

ROGER L. CHARLY, 5212 Harbor Court, 53705-1306 (19th A.D.) - Mr. Charly is the owner of Budget Bicycle Center, 8 N. Charter St.  He has lived in the area for 50+ years.

 

JENNIFER J. (J.J.) KILMER, 4139 Cherokee Dr., 53711 (10th A.D.) - Ms. Kilmer is the owner of Indie Coffee located at 1225 Regent St.

STEVEN C. INGHAM, 302 Racine Rd., 53705 (11th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Adult City Resident.  Mr. Ingham is a food safety extension specialist for the UW-Madison Department of Food Science.  He is a former member of the SWAC.

TAX INCREMENTAL FINANCING POLICY AD HOC COMMITTEE

 

DAVID N, GAWENDA, 1004 Douglas Trail, 53716 (16th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Mayoral Appointee.  Mr. Gawenda is the Dane County Treasurer.  He has served on approximately 25 TID Joint Review Boards representing Dane County.
