AFFIRMATIVE ACTION COMMISSION

 

JASON A. DELBORNE, 406 Sidney St., 53703-1724 (2nd A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Adult City Resident.  Mr. Delborne is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the UW-Madison, Department of Rural Sociology/National Science Foundation.  He is involved in the Lapham/Marquette parent-teacher group, the Tenney Park Neighborhood Association and the Society for the Social Studies of Science (an international professional/academic organization).  He succeeds Brenda Gonzalez.

SUSAN M. CORRADO, 2714 Van Hise Ave., 53705 (5th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Allied Area Community Group Representative.  Ms. Corrado is a community parish nurse for Oakwood Lutheran Homes.  She has a great deal of contact with Allied Drive residents in her work.  She is a regular participant at the Allied Stakeholder's meetings.  She succeeds Lindsay McClernan.

KEN R. MAYER, 7105 Longmeadow Rd., 53717 (9th A.D.) -  Mr. Mayer is a professor of Political Science at the UW-Madison and director of the UW Campaign Finance Project.  He is involved in community organizations and state advisory boards. 

 

WILLIAM M. KRAUS, 946 Spaight St., 53703 (6th A.D.) -  Mr. Kraus is chairman emeritus of Kraus Sikes, Inc. (now Guild, Inc.).  He has been active in business, education, government and political organizations.  He co-chaired the Wisconsin Common Cause and served as director of the National Common Cause.

 

MADELYN D. LEOPOLD, 2233 West Lawn Ave., 53711-1951 (10th A.D.) - Ms. Leopold is an attorney with Boardman, Suhr, Curry & Field, LLP.  She practices in the areas of estate planning, trusts and probate, elder law and business succession planning.  She is active in several civic organizations.

 

JOEL L. SKORNICKA, 1802 Monroe St. #508, 53711-2028 (10th A.D.) - Mr. Skornicka is a consultant with Skornicka and Associates.  He is a former Madison mayor.  He served on the City's Sesquicentennial Commission.
