I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments. Committee applications for mayoral appointments are attached. Statement of Interest forms are on file for these appointees where applicable.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT COMMITTEE
COLIN A. BOWDEN (2nd A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Low/Moderate Income Representative. Mr. Bowden is a student at Madison College studying IT and has recently been elected President of the Madison College Student Senate. He succeeds Arthur V. Robinson.

CULTURAL PLAN STEERING COMMITTEE
PATTY ELSON (10th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Member. Ms. Elson is a realtor with Restaino Realtors. She succeeds Allen A. Arntsen.

KENNETH GOLDEN (13th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Chair or Designee - Transit & Parking Commission. Mr. Golden succeeds Susan Schmitz.

STEVE YOUNGBAUER - appointed to the position of Madison Metropolitan School District Representative. Mr. Youngbauer is the Director of Food and Nutrition.

SUSTAINABLE MADISON COMMITTEE
JOHN M. CONOWALL (12th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Common Council or Citizen Member. Mr. Conowall currently holds the position of Third Alternate and has served since 4-16-2013. He succeeds Jill Johnson.
TERM EXPIRES: 6-30-2015
RAJAN V. SHUKLA (5th A.D.) - appoint to a two-year term to the position of Common Council or Citizen Member. Mr. Shukla is a program manager with Cool Choices, which designs and implements sustainability programs in businesses across Wisconsin.

DAVID P. RHODE (3rd A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of First Alternate. Mr. Rhode is a paramedic for the City of Middleton. He succeeds Ann Grodnik-Nagle.
