I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following resident committee appointments.

 

 

COMMITTEE ON AGING

 

EVE GALANTER (5th A.D.)  - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member succeeding Otistine Williams. Eve Galanter is a former council member and former director of U.S. Senator Herb Kohl’s Madison office. She has been active with several organizations and most recently served on the City’s Madison Public Library Board.

TERM EXPIRE: 10-1-2025

 

 

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT COMMITTEE

 

MEGAN N. MILLER (15th A.D.) - reappoint to a one-year term to the position of First Alternate. First appointed 12-6-2022.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2025

 

MATT PHAIR (20th A.D.) - reappoint to a one-year term position of Second Alternate. First appointed 8-1-2023.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2025

 

 

EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION COMMITTEE

 

ELIZABETH R. VOELL (16th A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Resident Member.  First appointed 5-7-2024.

TERM EXPIRES: 9-30-2027

 

 

URBAN DESIGN COMMISSION

 

NATHANIEL (HARRY) GRAHAM (3rd A.D.)  - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding Amanda Arnold. Harry Graham is a senior planner with the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham.

TERM EXPIRES: 6-30-2025

 

DAVID W.J. MCLEAN (6th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Registered Architect succeeding Cliff Goodhart. David McLean is a registered architect with UW-Madison’s Physical Plant - Architects & Engineers. He most recently served on the City’s Landmarks Commission.

TERM EXPIRES: 6-30-2027

 

ANINA MBILINYI (9th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Design Professional succeeding Christian Harper. Anina Mbilinyi is a licensed architect who spent 18 years with Flad Architects. She is currently self-employed and focusing on community work. She is a long-time mentor and is involved with organizations such as Foundation for Black Women Wellness and Global Youth Support Center.
