PUBLIC NOTICE
AT&T will be extending its fiber optic network within the City of Madison during the second and third quarters of 2007. This work is being done in order to provide fiber service and high speed internet service to Madison Public Schools at their request.
There will be a public hearing before the Board of Public Works on May 7th, 2007, at 6:30PM in Room 108 of the City-County Building, 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Cable installation contractors hired by AT&T, will install buried fiber optic cable within the roadway limits at the following locations:
Starting 270' south of Ellen Ave and Academy Dr, along west side of Ellen Ave to north side of Academy Dr to Elvehjem School @ 4201 Academy Dr.
Starting at the intersection of Pflaum Rd and Camden Rd, south along east side terrace of Camden Rd across Tompkins Dr to Glendale School @
1201 Tompkins Rd.
Starting in front of 1550 Williamson St, west to Rodgers St, south along east side terrace of Rodgers St. to Jenifer St, east in north terrace of Jenifer then south to the front of O'Keefe School at 510 S. Thornton Ave.
Starting at the intersection of Raymond Rd and Frisch Rd along Frisch Rd to Falk School @ 6323 Woodington Way
Starting at the intersection of Milwaukee St and Meadowlark Dr along Meadowlark Dr to Kennedy School @ 221 Meadowlark Dr
Starting at the intersection of Reider Rd and Portage Rd along Portage Rd to Donald Dr Following Donald Dr to Sandburg School @ 4114 Donald Dr
Starting at the intersection of E Atwood Av to Dennett Dr along Dennett Dr to Whitehorse School @ 218 Schenk St
Starting at the intersection of E Washington Av and 6th St following 6th St to the intersection of E Mifflin Av and 7th St following 7th St to east side of Johnson St and 7th St intersection
Restoration of any damage within the limits of the road right-of-way will be completed in accordance with the City of Madison's standard specifications. All damaged sidewalk slabs will be replaced with 5'
lift concrete. All damage done to grass between sidewalk and curb will be restored with a four inch covering of black dirt and seed. All restoration required within the traveled portion of the roadway will also be completed in accordance with the City of Madison's standard specification.
