The OCA has reviewed the MPD Body Worn Camera Policy (see attached OCA memo). The proposed resolution authorizes MPD to proceed with implementation of the program. The 2021 capital budget included $83,000 in GO Borrowing for the program (which was adopted as a carryforward appropriation in the 2023 capital budget). No additional appropriation is required.
