Board of Health for Madison and Dane County Resolution #2023-03 Authorization of Line Item Budget Transfers

This resolution includes a series of transfers within PHMDC to reflect projected spending levels through the end of the fiscal year; all proposed transfers are net neutral. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County may authorize PHMDC to move funds within appropriations during a fiscal year (IGA, VIII, G).
Transfers:
• WIC Breastfeeding: Transfer $1,008.00 from Purchased Services and $21,245.87 from Salaries (totaling $22,253.87) to Fringe.
• WIC Nutrition & Education: Transfer $1,500.00 from Supplies and $44,519.08 from Salaries (totaling $46,019.08) to Fringe.
• WIC Client Services: Transfer a total of $143,708.27 from Salaries as follows: transfer $132,695.09 from Salaries to Fringe; transfer $10,519.11 from Salaries to Supplies; transfer $494.07 from Salaries to Purchased Services.
• WIC Administration: Transfer $29,045.07 from Salaries, $4,418.91 from Supplies, and $9,154.50 from Purchased Services (totaling $42,681.48) to Fringe.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the transfer of the amounts as outlined within the department.
