Request from Madison Mallards for the use of Law Park on June 26-28, 2015 for Festival Foods Shake the Lake.

Staff recommends approval, based on Madison Mallards agreement to the following conditions:
 
1.      Aldermanic notification.  Please contact Alder Michael Verveer, district4@cityofmadison.com <mailto:district4@cityofmadison.com>.
2.      Madison Mallards will provide a complete and detailed site plan for the event.
3.      Organizers will review their site plans with the Central Parks Maintenance Supervisor, Lisa Laschinger, 266-9214 or llaschinger@cityofmadison.com <mailto:llaschinger@cityofmadison.com>  and agrees to comply with all site recommendations made regarding set-up in Law Park.
4.      Organizers will post a $3,000 damage deposit with the Parks Division prior to the event and acknowledges that their organization will be responsible for any and all actual field renovation costs which may result from this event.
5.      Madison Mallards will provide a certificate of insurance covering this event, including liquor liability, and naming the City of Madison as "additional insured."
6.      Fees will be paid, and the insurance and deposit will be on file in the Park Office at least two weeks prior to the event.
7.      In connection with the tents and structures that will be set up in Law Park, the organizers will contact Digger's Hotline approximately ten days before the event date, and contact the Park Office with the Ticket Number.
8.      No set-up is allowed on the pedestrian/bicycle path and access to the path must be maintained throughout the time permitted for the event.
9.      Madison Mallards will have exclusive use of the parking lot at Law Park for the event beginning at 6pm on Friday, June 26.  The lot closure will be posted one week prior to the event, June 19.
10.      There is no staking into the parking lot pavement.
11.      Call 608-267-8756 to arrange for meter bags. Call the Sayle Street Garage, 608-266-4767, 1120 Sayle St, to make arrangements to pickup and return barricades.
12.      Any beer sales or serving will be contained in a double-fenced beer garden. Sponsor will meet with Parks Staff and Police to discuss security issues in connection with the sale of beer, and will follow all Parks and Police requirements.
13.      No vehicles will be driven or parked on the grass.
14.      Organizer will be responsible for full clean-up of Law Park by noon on June 28.  All structures, fencing, toilets, etc. will be removed by that time.
