DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance amendment rezones a portion of the property located at 3618 Milwaukee Street from TR-C1 (Traditional Residential-Consistent 1) District to CC-T (Commercial Corridor-Transitional) District and the other portion located at 3618 Milwaukee Street from TR-C1 (Traditional Residential-Consistent 1) District to TR-U2 (Traditional Residential-Urban 2) District for future mixed-use and multi-family redevelopment.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
1. Map Amendment 00731 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:
“28.022-00731. The following described property is hereby rezoned to CC-T (Commercial Corridor-Transitional) District.
Being part of the SW1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 4, T7N, R10E, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, more described as follows:
Commencing at the West Quarter Corner of said Section 4; thence N01°36'15"E, 47 04 feet along the West line of the NW1/4 of said Section 4; thence N89°39'32"E, 69.81 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence N01°36'46"E, 268.70 feet; thence N00°00’00”E, 240.5 feet, more or less; thence S00°19'50"E, 270 feet, more or less; thence S89'39'32"W, 249.58 feet to the Point of Beginning. Contains 65,763 square feet (1.5 acres), more or less.”
2. Map Amendment 00732 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:
“28.022-00732. The following described property is hereby rezoned to TR-U2 (Traditional Residential-Urban 2) District.
Being part of the SW1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 4, T7N, R10E, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, more described as follows:
Commencing at the West Quarter Corner of said Section 4; thence N01°36'15"E, 47 04 feet along the West line of the NW1/4 of said Section 4; thence N89°39'32"E, 69.81 feet; thence N01°36'46"E, 268.70 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing N01°36'46"E, 686.63 feet; thence S89°59'35"E, 217.18 feet; thence S00°19'50"E, 686.49 feet more or less; thence S89'39'32"W, 240.5 feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning. Contains 156,603 square feet (3.6 acres), more or less.”
