PREAMBLE
The City of Madison, Town of Blooming Grove and Village of McFarland are proposing to reconstruct Siggelkow Road between Marsh Road and Catalina Parkway. The City of Madison is the lead municipality and is coordinating the public relations, design & construction. The roadway is in poor condition. The roadway is proposed to be improved to a urban divided cross section with 2 vehicle and 1 bike lane in each direction from Marsh Road to Holscher Road and 1 vehicle lane and 1 bike lane from Holscher Road to Catalina Parkway. New curb and gutter sidewalk and storm sewer system is included in the design. The proposed project is scheduled for construction in the year 2008.
The City of Madison, Town of Blooming Grove and Village of McFarland will enter into agreements for construction and cost sharing of the proposed project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the plans and specifications for the Siggelkow Road Reconstruction are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Town of Blooming Grove and Village of McFarland for reconstruction and cost sharing of the Siggelkow Road Reconstruction project.
