Following is an email I sent to Attorney Allen.  He provided me with your email addresses in order that you will have a record of my concern. 

I am unable to attend the October 5 meeting of the City Council because I will be out of the City. 

For the record: my husband (Gerald S Wilcox) and I support the issuance of a liquor license to Puerto Escondito.

Attorney Allen,

I am disturbed that Ms Carter, who is President of the Arbor Hills Neighborhood Assn, would tell the Committee that she polled our neighborhood regarding the issuance of a license for Puerto Escondito. 

My husband and I are dues-paying members of the Association and are on any list where we might have received such a poll.  We never did, nor did three of my neighbors who are also dues-paying members.
