City of Madison,

I am writing to ask you to deny the request for a liquor license at 1935 Monroe Street. Trader Joe's and Barriques, both one block away, already sell carry out liquor. The only person I know in the neighborhood that wants a new liquor store is a guy that would prefer not to walk three blocks to the Open Pantry so that he can buy "a cheap six pack". Everyone else is against this new liquor store.

We don't need even higher alcohol density in this neighborhood. Please deny this license request.
