Informational Presentation of West Area Plan Update

The City of Madison Planning Division has completed the initial phases of its planning process for the West Area Plan. This plan is one of the first to be undertaken as part of our new Planning Framework. Our team has been working in coordination with the Parks Division on the parks and open space aspects of the plan. City Planning Staff will provide an informational update on the planning process and public engagement efforts, share early draft issues and opportunities, and solicit comments and suggestions from the Board of Park Commissioners.
