Body
The City of Madison has partnered with WisDOT to reconstruct a portion of University Avenue and the intersection of University Avenue & University Bay Drive in 2022-2023. Plans for this project were approved under RES-21-00456 (File #65898). As part of this reconstruction project, a portion of the improvements around the University Avenue & University Bay Drive intersection will be constructed on the railroad property, owned by WisDOT and operated by Wisconsin and Southern Railroad and Watco Companies. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Engineer is hereby authorized to execute a permit on behalf of the City with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the installation of public infrastructure on the railroad property, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council hereby approves of the indemnification of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the Wisconsin and Sout...
