Accepting sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) constructed by Private Contract In Western Addition to 1000 Oaks - Phase 2, Private Contract No. 8463. (1st AD)

WHEREAS, the VH 1000 Oaks West, LLC, has satisfactorily completed the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in: Western Addition to 1000 Oaks - Phase 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
1. That said sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted.
2. That said sanitary sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Sewer Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Sewer Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".
SANITARY SEWER ACCOUNTING DATA
A) Total Contract Value (including Engineering
and Miscellaneous Costs) $ 20,504.74
B) Contributions in Aid of Construction:
a) Public Sewer Components $ 20,504.74
b) Sewer Laterals $ -0-
C) Investments in Capital (MSU Share) $ -0-

3. That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".
Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A” $916,186.32
4. That the street improvements, excluding the bituminous pavement, on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:
• Old Timber Pass from Hazy Sky Parkway to Sweet Willow Pass
• Old Timber Pass from Sweet Willow Pass to Valley View Road
• Sweet Willow Pass from Old Timber Pass to the East lotline of Lot 400
• Bike Path from 415’ West of Old Timber Pass to 112’ East of Old Timber Pass
• Valley View Road from 500’ West of Old Timber Pass to Old Timber Pass
• Valley View Road from Old Timber Pass to the East lotline of Lot 406
The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project No. 12629 $335,761.15 for a useful life of 40 years.
