Fiscal Note

The cost of Phase 2 - CCB Office Remodels, First and Fifth Floors is estimated to be $4,500,000 for construction (includes 8% contingency) and $1,000,000 in related project costs (includes design fees, staff time, temporary office space and moving expenses, furniture/fixtures/equipment, audio/visual, signage, etc.). Approximately $1 million of carryover GO funding is available in project 11840 and the remainder is appropriated in the 2023 Engineering-Facilities Management Capital Budget.

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Phase 2 of CCB Office Remodels, First and Fifth Floors, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                      That the City Engineer and Finance Director are hereby authorized to obtain all Furnishings, Fixtures, Equipment and Materials necessary for the Project in accordance with City Purchasing Policy.

 

4)                      That the City Engineer and Finance Director are hereby authorized to obtain and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any documents required for moving, remediation, testing, inspection and consulting services as necessary for the Project in accordance with MGO Ordinances and City Policy, on a form and in a manner that has been approved by the City Attorney and Risk Manager.
