Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract for Purchase of Services (Design Professionals) with Saiki Design, Inc. to provide professional landscape architecture and engineering consultant design services and construction administrative services for the Madison Senior Center Courtyard project located at 330 W. Mifflin Street. The estimated cost is $132,190. Funding is available in the Downtown Area Park project (Munis 12728-51-130). No additional appropriation is required.

Body
WHEREAS, the 2020 Capital Budget includes funding for landscape architecture and engineering consultant design services for the reconstruction of the Madison Senior Center courtyard; and,
WHEREAS, Saiki Design, Inc. has been selected through a “Request for Proposal” process, and is the final selection candidate in accordance with MGO Section 4.26 of Madison General Ordinances and in accordance with Administrative Procedure Memorandum No. 3-3, “Retaining Architect, Professional Engineers, Designers and Land Surveyors for Consultant Service;” and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract for Purchase of Services (Design Professional) in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, with Saiki Design, Inc. to provide professional landscape architecture and engineering consultant design services and construction administrative services for the Madison Senior Center Courtyard project located at 330 W. Mifflin Street.
