Title
Board of Health for Madison and Dane County Resolution #2021 - 20 Authorization of Budget Transfer of Opioid RX Pathway Grant Funds
Body
Public Health Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) was previously awarded the Opioid RX Pathway/Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) Grant from the WI Department of Health Services (DHS). The OD2A Grant provides funding to develop materials and a system to implement overdose spike alerts. Due to 2021 fringe costs being higher than anticipated, it is being proposed to move a portion of the grant funding from supplies and purchased services to personnel.
The transfer of funding within the OD2A grant will cover the fringe costs for the Public Health Specialist OD2A Project Coordinator:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health Madison and Dane County, authorizes the transfer of the amounts of the OD2A Grant as outlined below, for the purpose of covering fringe expenses for the OD2A Project Coordinator.
