The proposed resolution amends the Madison General Ordinance to update existing Alder Ward Boundaries. The 2022 proposed budget for the Clerk's Office includes adequate funding for any new wards and to administer the 2022 elections.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Section 15.02 entitled “Wards and Ward Boundaries” of the Madison General Ordinances is amended as follows:
“15.02 WARDS AND WARD BOUNDARIES.
For the purpose of local elections beginning January 1, 2022, wards and ward boundaries are established as follows and as shown on a map entitled “City of Madison Aldermanic Districts and Wards, October 14, 2021 November 10, 2021” on file in the Office of the City Clerk. Ward polling places are initially established as follows but may be modified for each election by resolution.
