Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) proposes accepting funding from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on behalf of the Division of Public Health to support the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Specifically, PHMDC proposes accepting a total of $58,203.83 to cover charges incurred for utilizing interpreters. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County may authorize PHMDC to accept and spend grant funds (IGA, VII, F, 1-3).
