Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract for Purchase of Services (Architect) with InSite Consulting Architects to provide professional architectural and engineering consultant design services and construction administrative services for the existing building at 330 E Lakeside Street at an estimated cost of $300,000. Funding is available in the 2020 Adopted Budget for Park Facility Improvements (Munis 12586 -51 -140).

Body
WHEREAS, the 2020 Capital Budget includes funding for architectural and engineering consultant design services; and,
WHEREAS, InSite Consulting Architects has been selected through a “Request for Proposal” process, and is the final selection candidate in accordance with MGO Section 4.26 of Madison General Ordinances and in accordance with Administrative Procedure Memorandum No. 3-3, “Retaining Architect, Professional Engineers, Designers and Land Surveyors for Consultant Service;” and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract for Purchase of Services (Architect) in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, with InSite Consulting Architects to provide professional architectural and engineering design services and construction administration services for the existing building at 330 E Lakeside Street (Olin Building Improvements project).
