Title
BOH Resolution #2020 - 20 Authorization of Budget Transfer of Overdose Fatality Grant Funds
Body
Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) was previously awarded the Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) Grant from the Department of Justice (DOJ) to facilitate an overdose fatality review partnership in Dane County. Due to the timeline of spending the grant funding, the challenges introduced by COVID-19, and the needs to support implementation of the case review process, it is being proposed to move a portion of the grant funding from transcription services and conference and training to software supplies, personnel, and mileage.
The transfer of funding within the OFR grant will support the following grant objectives:
• Ongoing data abstraction
• Facilitation of the OFR case review process with a shift to virtual meetings
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the transfer of the amounts of Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) Grant as outlined below, for the purpose of supporting the overdose case review process.
